Position/Title: Manager of Support Services
Location: Collective for Youth
Reports To: Executive Director
Interrelationships: This position has frequent contact with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), parents/guardians, Site Directors, Agency Partners/Managers, CFY Executive Director and staff.

Position Summary: 
The Manager of Support Services is responsible for coordinating and supporting partnering agencies with the process of obtaining their school-age child care license. Ensuring all sites remain in compliance to the licensing regulations; processing and submitting all child care subsidy billing, including all bookkeeping duties. This full-time position has direct communication with DHHS, parents/guardians, agency partners and Site Directors. Additionally, the Manager of Support Services will evaluate and observe out-of-school time programs and assist in leading professional development activities for partnering agencies.

Essential Job Functions: 

Qualifications: Education: BS/BA Preferred

Experience: A combination of prior experience with developing programs for childcare settings, promoting programs, working with groups of diverse ages and backgrounds, working with community organizations, developing and implementing policies and procedures, hiring and supervising staff, handling problems and/or complaints, and identifying team and individual goals and promoting the strategies needed to achieve them.

Must be willing to accept directions and be accountable, comfortable and confident dealing with various individuals in person and on the phone, willing to take risks and accept challenges, and be open to new ideas. Must be able to develop and maintain good relationships with staff, parents, and children. Must understand teamwork and value the importance of developing and being a part of an effective team, and be able to interact with others to accomplish tasks. Must be aware of the needs of others and enjoy helping other people.
